- Critters in the Moonlight - Hartwick Pines State Park, Grayling from 4:30pm - 8:30 pm. While this program is especially focused for families with young children, all who come out will enjoy the Jack-O-Lantern lit walk through a portion of the Old Growth Forest and meet several of Michigan’s forest animals. These animals portrayed by costumed volunteers will tell you a little about themselves to dispel some common misconceptions about them. There is no admission for this program, however a State Park Motor Vehicle Permit is required for park entry.
