Shanty Creek's pristine Nordic ski trails wind through snow-blanketed northern Michigan meadows, hardwoods and pines. Cross country provides skiers a beautiful experience accompanied by the delicate sound of winter.

All 30km of SCRs dedicated trails are groomed daily and planned with cross-country enthusiasts in mind with stretching and bending terrain, ideal for short-strides and long-glides.

The Moonlite Run, which rolls along the Summit Golf Course, features LED solar lighting providing a nighttime opportunity and a whole new Nordic experience.

Shanty Creek's cross country ski reputation has a long history thanks to its affiliation with one of the most iconic point-to-point races in North America, the White Pine Stampede. This year's race will take place on Feb 2, 2013.
