As an employee, you can apply through your ADP employee portal. After logging in, navigate to the menu icon at the top left corner of your screen and select the Careers menu option. Then select “Search Jobs”.
Yes, you may apply to as many positions as you would like, just keep in mind that you might receive followup calls from multiple hiring managers.
Most of our positions are in-person and on property due to the nature of our business in ski, golf and hospitality. If a job were to be remote or hybrid, it will be spelled out in the job description.
Shanty Creek is committed to supporting our Veteran community.
Once we receive your online application, the hiring manager of the department will evaluate your application. If you are considered for the position, you will be contacted by the hiring manager to either set up a phone or in-person interview. If you are not considered for the position, you will receive an email notification.
First, we will complete a background check, using a third party company, Insperity, and they will send you an email with a link to initiate your background screening. Screens go back 7 years and are assessed based on the job you applied for. Upon receiving your acceptable screening results, we will start the online onboarding process via email and through ADP WorkforceNow. Keep an eye on your inbox for a message from Shanty Creek Resort/ADP with instructions on how to activate your ADP account, which will be your employee portal. The online onboarding paperwork has three sections: Employment Verification, Personal Forms and Payroll & Tax Forms. Once you have completed all three sections, you may call the Human Resources office to set up an appointment at your earliest availability to complete Employment Verification, receive your Employee ID, nametag and esssential information prior to your start date.
Limited, temporary, dormitory style housing may be available dependant on prior commitments and capacity. Permanent year-round or permanent seasonal housing is not available. If you are searching for affordable housing in the area, please feel free to research these opportunities:

Shanty Creek hosts Work & Travel and Intern/Trainee participants through our approved sponsor partners. We do not consider individual applications. For our Work & Travel program, we work with InterExchange, Intrax, Spirit Exchange, and Universal Student Exchange. We do not consider individual out of country applications.
Dependent on the seasonal need, Shanty Creek hosts summer participants on the H-2B Temporary Non-Agricultural Workers Visa program. We do not consider individual out of country applications.
